Man Found Shot Inside South Sacramento Home

A little before 11:30 a.m. on December 30, 2016, the Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call regarding an unresponsive male victim locate inside a residence in the 5500 block of Enrico Boulevard in South Sacramento.

Deputies responded to the scene and located the body of an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.  He was pronounced deceased at the scene.  Inside the residence was a marijuana cultivation operation.  Homicide detectives are on-scene and beginning their investigation.  The relationship of the victim to the residence and the motive of the crime are not known at this time.

The identity of the victim in this case will be made available by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office, after notification has been made to his next of kin.
