Effective April 15, 2015, the Main Jail Cashier’s Office will no longer be open to the public.

Bail bonds are accepted from Bail Bondsmen only 24 hours a day/7 days a week with the exception of 6:00am-8:00am and 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Cash bails are only accepted through the TouchPay Kiosk in the Main Jail Lobby, or TouchPay Direct By phone at 1-866-232-1899, or by Internet at https://tponlinepay.com/. Facility location number is 257501 and you will need the inmate’s name and X-reference number. FEES FOR THESE SERVICE ARE APPLICABLE.

Depositing money into an inmate’s account:

Money orders may be mailed to the address listed below under the “Correspondence” section.

Money Releases

There are no money releases on the weekends or holidays.

Alternative deposit methods:

TouchPay Direct – By phone at 1-866-232-1899, or by Internet at https://tponlinepay.com/. Facility location number is 257501 and you will need the inmate’s name and X-reference number. There is also a TouchPay Kiosk in the Main Jail lobby. Some Retail locations also have kiosk deposit ability. Please see the TouchPay website at http://touchpayonline.com/locator/ for information. FEES FOR THESE SERVICE ARE APPLICABLE.

All deposits for Commissary Orders must be on an Inmate’s Trust Account before 7:00am Sunday morning for both the Main Jail and RCCC.

Correspondence:
ALL correspondence, including money orders, must have a return name and address and be addressed in the following manner:

Inmate Release Funds
Effective April 9th, 2013, any individual released from the Sacramento County Main Jail or the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center with funds on his/her account will be issued a NUMI MasterCard Debit Card. Released inmates will no longer receive cash or checks upon release. This change will not affect transfers to other agencies: they will continue to receive transfer checks in accordance with our current Department policy. However, that practice may change in the future and other agencies will be notified in the event of such change.
