Sheriff's "SIRENS" Program to Go Live

On January 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., the Sheriff’s Inmate Release Elective Notification System (SIRENS) program will go live. This program will replace the existing VINELink (Victim Information and Notification) Everyday) program. Members of the public can register with this web-based program to receive phone calls, text message or e-mail notifications of inmate releases from Sacramento County jails.

SIRENS is a free automated and anonymous service for crime victims and other concerned citizens. Registration information is available at www.sacsheriff.com or by calling the Sacramento County Main Jail public information line at (916) 874-6752.
