Sex Assault Suspect Sought

The Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's assistance to identify the suspect in a sexual assault that took place in south Sacramento County last week. On February 6, 2013, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the suspect entered an apartment in the 4900 block of El Paraiso Avenue. The resident of the apartment, an elderly woman, attempted to flee but was overpowered and sexually assaulted. The suspect stole money and other items before fleeing the scene. 

The suspect (see attached composite sketch) is described as a black male between 17 and 19 years of age, approximately 5'9" tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, a short-sleeved white T-shirt with black, horizontal stripes and dark blue jeans.
