Attorney Arrested

On Thursday March 6, 2008, at approximately 10:45 a.m., detectives assigned to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department’s Sexual Assault Unit arrested local family law attorney Gary Appelblatt (56) in his office which is located at 3610 American River Drive.

Detectives investigated a complaint from a 28-year old female client who reported Abbelblatt touched her in a sexual manner during an office visit last month. Appelblatt was arrested on a warrant for one count of sexual battery and is being held on $10,000.00 bail at the Sacramento County Main Jail.
