Homicide On Edison Avenue

On March 9, 2008, at 3:45 a.m., Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a shooting at an apartment complex which is located in the 2200 block of Edison Avenue. Deputies arrived and found a 23-year old Black male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Paramedics arrived a short time later and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Investigators have determined the victim, a resident of Sacramento, was visiting friends who live in the complex. However, the actual shooting was not witnessed and a motive for the shooting has not been determined. .
