Sheriff's Toy Project

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department's Toy Project in partnership with the Salvation Army will be providing toys and a Christmas dinners for less fortunate local families and children in the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County and the city of Rancho Cordova. The Sheriff's Department continues to host and participate in activities for the remainder of the days before Christmas collecting donated toys for the Sheriff's annual Toy Project Christmas Distribution Campaign. For over 30 years, donations by community members have played a significant role in providing for Sacramento's less fortunate families.
The Sheriff's Toy Project builds toys and repairs bicycles on a year-round basis. These toys and bicycles are distributed to deserving children during the holiday season. In addition, with the help of Heald College, the Sheriff's Toy Project also repairs donated computers for needy families.
Families wishing to receive gifts must apply at their local Sheriff's Department Service Center. For more information about the application process, or for the location of toy drop-off locations, those interested can contact their local service center:

For every Ticket purchased you will receive a $5 gift card good for future purchases at Dimple Records.
As a benefit for the Sacramento Sheriff's Toy Project, please bring a new unwrapped toy to the show. There will be staff collecting toys at the entrance to the concert.

The Sacramento Sheriff's Department's Toy Project, Viking Pools, University of Phoenix, Heald College, and New Country 105.1 KNCI will be hosting "2009 Christmas Splash" from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the promenade of Westfield Galleria at Roseville. The goal of this event is to "fill the pool" with donated toys.
