Inmate Visit Registration and Information:
Dress Code: The dress code is directed at both male and female visitors. No revealing clothing: Tube tops, see-through mesh materials, short shorts, micro mini skirts, tank tops with thin straps, backless or sleeveless tops, midriff or cutoff shirts or bathing tops are not allowed. Clothing with logos: This includes any clothing that promotes violence, hate, drug use, profanity, sex acts or gangs are not allowed. All visitors are required to wear footwear (shoes, sandals or boots). No under wire bras, boots with heels over 2 inches, revealing clothing high nor jewelry or hair pins. The following items are allowed: wedding/engagement rings, medical alert tags and medical implants.

Required Visitor Identification:
All visitors over 18 years of age must present proof of identification as described below when registering to visit and/or whenever a uniformed officer requests to see it.

• Valid driver’s license or identification card with picture from any state, or
• A current military identification card, or
• A current Passport, or
• A valid Alien Registration Card issued by the United States Government.

Other Visiting Requirements:
You and your vehicle are subject to search while on jail property. You will be searched (pat-down or metal detector) before you are allowed to visit. Any person released from the Main Jail or Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center within the last 30 days; or who has been previously convicted of a felony which resulted in confinement in any state prison will not be allowed to visit persons in custody at Rio Cosumnes Correctional center without the consent of the Jail Commander or Watch Supervisor (PC 4571). No more than two (2) adults and two (2) children visitors per inmate.

No one under 18 years of age will be allowed to visit unless:

• They are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• In possession of a certified copy of a marriage certificate.
• In possession of a certified copy of an emancipation declaration.

You will only be allowed to bring one (1) car key or door remote, identification, and money. If you have a baby, you may bring one (1) diaper, one (1) baby blanket, baby wipes in a clear plastic bag and one plastic baby bottle into the visit area. No diaper bags, strollers or car seats will be allowed.

• A-D Saturday 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM (only)
• E-K Saturday 11:30 AM -12:30 PM (only)
• L-Q Sunday 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM (only)
• R-Z Sunday 11:30 AM -12:30 PM (only)

Special Populations

All Pre-Trial Inmates Regardless of Housing Location
Pre-Trail inmates are allowed two (2) visits per week on any two (2) days of the week, except Friday due to operational restrictions. Registration 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM (only)
