Goals:
To identify and disrupt major illegal drug organizations which in turn, improves the safety and quality of life for the residents of the County of Sacramento.

The Metropolitan Division identifies, investigates, and eradicates mid- to-upper level illegal drug organizations within the greater Sacramento Area.

The division includes the following bureaus:
Air Operations Bureau
Critical Incident Negotiation Team (CINT)
Explosive Ordnance Bureau (Bomb Squad)
Gang Suppresion Unit
Major Narcotics Investigations
