The Northwest Division consists of:
Northwest Service Center
Detectives

The Northwest Division is comprised of 76 sworn officers, 51 of them being Patrol Deputies, divided into 3 shifts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Six Detectives are assigned to investigate crimes in the Division with the exception of homicides, robberies and sex assaults. The Division is broken down into 5 zones with each having a dedicated POP (Problem Oriented Police Officer) Deputy to handle community/neighborhood problems. The remaining 14 positions consist of 9 Sergeants, 4 Lieutenants, and 1 Captain. The Division is allowed 9 non-sworn positions to support the administrative/fiscal duties of the Division.

The Northwest Station serves the communities of Antelope, Elverta, Foothill Farms, Garden Highway, McClellan Park, Natomas Industry, North Highlands and Rio Linda.

Community Meetings
The Northwest Division facilitates a series of community meetings in your neighborhoods. The purpose of these meetings is to describe our Community Oriented Policing philosophy, to open the channels of communications between all of us, and to hear the concerns you have in your neighborhood.

The following meetings have been scheduled. See the map to determine which meeting is appropriate for you.
