The Northwest Division Service Center, located at 7511 Watt Avenue, is supported with 25 dedicated volunteers and is supervised by an Office Manager (we are actively recruiting new Volunteers). The Service Center is open Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm excluding holidays. The Service Center handles reports of crimes not in progress or of a non-violent nature, public safety education and tips to help prevent crimes. Other staff located at the Service Center include a Crime Prevention Specialist for neighborhood watch, site surveys and community events, POP Deputies and a Sergeant.

The Northwest POP (Problem Oriented Policing) Officers work various special projects and ongoing problems in the community.

The Division's Crime Prevention Specialist assists citizens with establishing Neighborhood Watch Programs, in addition to assisting area businesses in establishing Business Watch. Our Crime Prevention Specialist is also available to make presentations to community groups within Northwest Division. The Crime Prevention Specialist and POP Officers work closely on crime problems within the Division.
