Mission:
In serving our community, we establish and dedicate the Sheriff Stationhouse to providing professional, effective, and community-based law enforcement services. Together we will work in partnership to identify permanent solutions to the contemporary challenges facing our neighborhoods. By investing trust in each other and relying on our combined wisdom, judgment and experience we will further our commitment to improving the quality of life throughout our various communities.

The Marconi Station, North Central Division, houses the Patrol Deputies, POP Officers, Detectives, Crime Analyst, Crime Prevention Specialist and Community Service Center for the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento.

The Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Officer's duties include involving the community in problem solving, exploring pro-active and innovative law enforcement initiatives and working with the community to implement solutions that make neighborhoods and business districts better and safer places in which to live and work. Questions for POP officers of the North Central Service Center can be sent by e-mail to NCSC@sacsheriff.com.

The Crime Prevention Specialist may assist citizens in establishing a Neighborhood Watch Program. Neighborhood Watch may be established for both single family residential areas and multi-unit residential complexes. Our Crime Prevention Specialist may also assist businesses in establishing a Business Watch commercial business districts. Our Crime Prevention Specialist is also available to make presentations to community groups within our division. The Crime Prevention Specialist works closely with the POP officers in our division to work on crime problems in your area.

North Central Division Detectives investigate felony and misdemeanor assaults, domestic violence incidents and court order violations.

Community Meetings
The Community Service Center staff is facilitating a series of community meetings in your neighborhoods. The purpose of these meetings is to describe our new Community Oriented Policing philosophy, to open the channels of communications between all of us, and to hear the concerns you have in your neighborhood.
