Mission:
Our Mission is to provide quality programs that are comprehensive,
contemporary, innovative, and cost effective.
The Division of Training and Education is guided by the following
beliefs:
- High quality service to the Department, Law Enforcement Community,
and the public is the foundation of our program.
- The citizens we serve are entitled to receive quality and cost
effective services.
- We treat our students with concern, respect, and courtesy in
a professional manner; our Deputies treat the citizens we serve
in similar manner.
- Each member of our staff is responsible and accountable for
our investment in excellence by providing a quality training and
reserve program.
Our instructor staff is our greatest asset and the source of our
success.
Goals:
To ensure the best training possible for the members of the
Sacramento County Sheriff's Department, and provide effective
efficient supplementary service through our Reserve Deputies. Doing
all of this with the ultimate goal of providing the citizens of
Sacramento County the level of safety they expect while in their
homes and out in their neighborhoods.
