In serving our community we strive to provide professional and effective law enforcement service. We are committed to working with the community to improve the quality of life for the residents and visitors to our communities.

The North Division of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department provides patrol services for approximately 415,000 people living in the communities of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Gold River, Orangevale, Arden-Arcade, Foothill Farms, Antelope, North Highlands, Rio Linda, Elverta and the Garden Highway. The Division is currently staffed with 134 sworn officers and a support staff of 19. The patrol officers serving the areas above work out of the Garfield Station.
