**At-Risk Missing Person**

The Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a woman who was reported missing after leaving from her residence located in the 7200 block of Pepperwood Knoll Lane in the north area of Sacramento County. 28-year-old Janet Mejia was reporting missing by her roommate last night.  She was last seen around 9:00 a.m. on April 11, 2017, when she left the residence and has not been seen or heard from since.

Mejia’s vehicle was located by the Sheriff’s Department this afternoon in the Arden-Arcade area.  Her disappearance is out of the ordinary for her, and she is usually in constant contact with her family.

Mejia (see attached photo) is described as a Hispanic female with long black hair and brown eyes.  She is five feet tall,120-125 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “PINK” on the front.
