Three Injured in South Area Stabbing

On February 10, 2018, at 10:38 p.m. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Communication Center received a 911 call from the area of 6th Parkway and Florin Road.  Information was obtained through an interpreter and the caller indicated there was a stabbing victim at the location.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area and determined an assault had occurred approximately one mile away near 65th Street and Savings Place.  Deputies discovered there was a total of three people injured stemming from an altercation.

Investigators have identified three victims who all sustained stab wounds.  The victims are being treated at area hospitals and expected to survive.  At least one possible suspect has been detained for his involvement in this assault and investigators are interviewing witnesses in an attempt to determine what occurred prior to the incident.
