Child Pornography Arrest

On June 26, 2018, Detectives from the Sacramento Valley High Tech Crimes Task Force, Internet Crimes Against Children Bureau arrested 29-year-old Jordan Vinson of Sacramento, California.

During an investigation, which began in mid-May of 2018, an IP address was identified as offering files containing child pornography.  A search warrant was obtained for a residence, which was identified by detectives as being in South Sacramento.

Upon service of the search warrant, detectives located a computer, which was determined to be used exclusively by Vinson.  A forensic search of the computer revealed approximately 280 video files of child pornography, with over 100 of the files depicting children under the age of 12.

During the course of this investigation, detectives have learned there may be additional victims related to this case within the San Francisco Bay Area.

Vinson is currently in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail for charges related to the possession of over 600 obscene images depicting a minor in a sexual act.  He is being held in lieu of  $250,000.00 bail.
