Sacramento County Sheriff’s Gang Suppression Unit (GSU) Detectives investigated a member of the criminal street gang “Gas Guttah,” and “rapper” Travis Smith, also known as "AR Trav", who lived up to his moniker. GSU Detectives served a search warrant at his residence in Fair Oaks, where they discovered multiple firearms, including an AR-15 style pistol loaded with double stacked high capacity rifle magazines. Smith was taken into custody without incident and booked into into the Sacramento County Main Jail. 

At the time of this arrest, Smith was out on bail from a 2023 GSU arrest when he was caught with two 5.7 caliber handguns. He l is also out on bail for a separate arrest illegal gun arrest in Honolulu (Hawaii) from October of 2024. GSU Detectives secured a bail enhancement for Smith from the courts, and Smith remains in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail ineligible for bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 18.
