Homicide Investigation on Oakhollow Drive

At 5:34 p.m. on Sunday October 18, 2020, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call from the 4400 block of Oakhollow Drive in North Sacramento regarding shots being fired.  An additional caller stated they heard shots and saw a subject on the ground with a gunshot wound.

Deputies responded and located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound to his head.  Fire arrived moments later and the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating and witness interviews are still being conducted. No suspect information is available.

The identity of the victim in this case will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.
