Suspicious Death Investigation on Red Robin Lane

At approximately 10:53 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call regarding an unresponsive subject at an apartment complex located at the 2000 block of Red Robin Lane in Sacramento County.

Deputies and Fire Personnel responded and located an unresponsive, 38-year-old, adult male inside the apartment.  Life-saving measures were performed, however, the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later.  Deputies were unable to immediately identify a cause of death.

Homicide detectives responded and are conducting witness interviews and gathering evidence.  They determined the victim is associated with the residence, but the circumstances of his death are unclear.    

The identity of the victim in this case will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.
