Shotspotter Activation with Arrest & Gun Seizure

On November 10, 2021, at approximately 9:36 a.m. there was a 5 round ShotSpotter activation within south Sacramento County.  Deputies were dispatched less than a minute later and arrived at the activation address shortly thereafter.

When deputies arrived at the dispatched address, they contacted an adult male subject, who had a clearly visible gun magazine sticking out of his pocket.  Deputies detained and later arrested the subject, George Clifton Brown (28), who is a validated Oak Park Blood Gang Member, for having a concealed weapon on his person.  Brown had three warrants for “driving under the influence” out of two California Counties.

Brown was transported to the Main Jail on three fresh felony counts, possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a loaded firearm registered to another and discharge of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner and is being held on $500,000 bail.  He will be in court next week to answer for the charges.
