On Monday, May 15, 2023, 32-year-old Jose CARDONA of Sacramento County was arrested in relation to a juvenile sexual assault investigation conducted by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Sexual and Elder Abuse Bureau (SEAB) and the Child Abuse Bureau (CAB). The victim, in this case, was a 14-year-old juvenile who was known to CARDONA.

CARDONA was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on four counts of PC 288(c)(1) – Lewd Act with a Minor 14 or 15 Years Old. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 17, 2023, at 3:00 pm to answer for the charges.
