Central Deputies responded to a domestic violence call in South Sacramento County, where the victim stated her ex-boyfriend had entered her residence and pointed a handgun at her head. Deputies en route to the call were advised that the suspect, James Nix, had an active $100K felony stalking warrant and had fled from the residence.
Deputies arrived on the scene, secured the area, and waited for additional resources and K9. While deputies were still on the scene, James Nix was observed driving by. A felony stop ensued, and with the assistance of STAR, James Nix was taken into custody. A loaded .357 magnum revolver was located under the driver’s seat with two spent casings.
James Nix was transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail and booked on related charges.
