On February 18, 2025, Deputies responded to the Ramada Inn near Auburn Boulevard and Fulton Avenue about a female who had just been assaulted. When Deputies arrived, they learned the victim was 17-years-old, and was being trafficked and pimped out for sex.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau responded to the scene, and the victim told them that she had engaged in sexual intercourse with 26-year-old Alfred Walker, who was then driving her to various cities to perform commercial sex acts. When she tried to resist and told him that she did not want to work on the street as a sex worker, Walker repeatedly threatened her life, pointing a handgun at her, allowing him to continue to exploit her as a sex worker. In one instance, when the victim attempted to leave Walker, he threatened to shoot any family members or friends who arrived to rescue her. In a different incident, Walker poured hot coffee on the victim to punish and threaten her when she tried to refuse to work as a sex worker.
The victim told detectives that Walker communicated with all of the sex buyers to coordinate sex acts between the buyer and the victim, and would keep all of the money himself. Detectives learned Walker also had an unrelated felony arrest warrant for domestic violence and began searching for him for several days in various areas throughout Sacramento County.
On Thursday, February 27, at approximately 10:30 PM, Detectives located Walker driving near Fruitridge Road in South Sacramento. They conducted a vehicle stop and detained him without incident near the Fox 40 studios on the 4600 block of Fruitridge Road. A search of his vehicle yielded a fully loaded 1911 handgun, along with approximately 32 grams of a white crystalline substance, presumably methamphetamine. Walker was subsequently transported and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for multiple felonies, where he remains ineligible for bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.
During their investigation, Detectives learned of a second victim, who was also rescued. Detectives fear there are likely several more unreported victims that may have potentially been pimped and/or trafficked by Walker. Anyone who has been a victim or may have information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office at (916) 874-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP. Tips leading to additional charges may be eligible for a CASH reward of up to $1000, and tipsters remain anonymous. Tips are paid in cash, and you are never asked for identification.
