Academy - Costs and Equipment

The following equipment will be issued at no charge for use by ALL recruits while attending the Academy:

Firearm and magazines (which will be kept at the firearms range)

Gun belt

Holster

Keepers

Baton

Baton ring

Handcuffs and key

Handcuff case

Flashlight

Inert OC spray

Vest

Radio

Non-affiliate recruits will also be responsible for incurring the following additional costs:

Registration fee: (25 units @ $46) = Total $1334.00
(Out of State residence-additional registration fees will be required if not a CA resident for a minimum of one year and a day)
Materials fee: (handouts, binders, etc.) = Total $883.00
Ammunition: (to be purchased only through Academy), Estimated $1,137.00
